What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis: We all go into natural hypnosis many times every day - we call it daydreaming. This is when the mind wanders off to a different time and place and we go onto autopilot eg when driving the car or washing dishes. The subconscous mind comes forward to carry out the automatic tasks. For therapy or self hypnosis we just add relaxation to the daydream.
What do we experience in hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a pleasant state of mental and physical relaxation. The inward focus of the mind increases so the subconscious mind becomes more receptive and responsive to positive suggestion, ideas and visualisation. This is the way we can help make positive changes more...

They may want to lose weight, improve sleep, self esteem or confidence for public speaking and more... Clients often say they have tried using will power but some changes need to take place at a subconscious level. This is where our automatic patterns, habits and responses are established - and why hypnosis can be so useful more...
